Community Member-Led Event

In loving memory of Tom, we are supporting The Glioblastoma Research Organization and invite you to join us in making a difference. Your donation, no matter the size, will help fund critical research to find more effective treatments and, one day, a cure for Glioblastoma, the aggressive brain cancer that took Tom’s life. The process is fast, easy, and secure. Every contribution brings us one step closer to hope for those battling this disease.

Glioblastoma took Tom from us far too soon, leaving a deep void in our close-knit family. Tom was diagnosed in January 2023 and bravely fought the disease for two years, before he passed in February 2025. At the time of his diagnosis, Tom had a stroke and underwent surgery to remove his first tumor. While recovering from brain surgery, he also re-learned how to walk, as he embraced the attitude of living as much life as he could with the people he loved.

In the two years Tom lived with glioblastoma, he was kind, funny, and gracious with his time. He attended concerts and cheered at Ohio State football and basketball games. Most of all, he spent many nights with his family and friends around a dinner table, laughing and sharing stories. Tom was the best husband, dad, uncle, brother, and friend. We miss him so much.

Together, we are tipping off toward a future where no family has to endure the heartbreak of glioblastoma. As of March 1, 2026, we have raised over $35,000 in Tom’s honor. Let’s raise another $15,000!
