Angels in Paris

Community Member-Led Event

I am taking on the Paris Half Marathon with a purpose far bigger than miles

I’m running to support Angels on the Green in memory of Jason Cheatham, whose fight with Glioblastoma reminds us how urgently brain cancer needs better answers and a cure! I’m also running in honor of Bella Gonzales, ShineBrightLikeBella, to spotlight the full spectrum of conditions that impact the brain, whether medical or mental, and how often they’re both overlooked until it’s too late.

Every step is meant to challenge the idea that issues are rare, untouchable or someone else’s problem. They affect families, futures, and entire communities. This run is my way of pushing back, raising awareness, and supporting the people and organizations working to make that difference.
