Community Member-Led Event

I will be running in the Austin Half Marathon on Feb 14, 2027 to continue to
raise awareness and critical funds for the Glioblastoma Research Organization. This is a deeply personal mission to continue honoring my dad’s legacy, who passed away from GBM in October 2025. He hoped that his experience with brain cancer could be used to help others, and by running these miles, I am dedicated to fueling the research needed to combat this disease. Glioblastoma is the most aggressive form of brain cancer with incredibly low survival rates, and more research is vital to making progress toward a cure.
